Host: Columbus High School

Facilities: 25 yards, 10 competition lanes, warm-up/down pool, Hy-Tek entries, Colorado electronic timing and scoreboard, stadium seating, parking deck. A hospitality room will be provided for coaches and officials. Swimmers only will be allowed on the deck. There is no food or colored drinks on the pool deck. Water only is allowed on the deck. Teams may use the foyer outside the pool to set up team coolers.

Eligibility: This meet will run under GHSA rules. 1. All contestants must represent their respective high schools and all contestants must meet the eligibility requirements as outlined by the GHSA. Swimmers must be in the 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade. 2. All contestants must meet eligibility requirements as outlined by the Georgia High School Association. 3. Contestants may enter no more than two (2) individual events and three (3) relays and no more than a total of four (4) events. 4. Boy’s events will precede Girl’s events. The standard high school events will be used, boys odd numbers, girls even. There will be a 10 minute break after the 50 free.

Entries: It is preferred that coaches use Hy-Tek Team Manager for entries, and send the Hy-Tek file as an e-mail attachment to Karen Waters chsbluedevilswimming@gmail.com. Entry deadline will be 5PM, Tuesday, November 7.The meet will be seeded according to times, so coaches should do their best to obtain a representative entry time for each swimmer. NT’s are acceptable; however, those will be seeded at random by the Meet Manager program.

Entry Fees: $4.00 per individual event and $10.00 per relay. ($50 minimum per team) Make checks payable to Columbus High Swim Booster. Please bring the check to the meet. Receipts will be provided.

Late Entries: Any late changes on the day of the meet should be reported to the Meet Director immediately.

Order of Events: Boy’s events will precede Girl’s events. The standard high school events will be used, boys odd numbers, girls even. There will be a 10 minute break after the 50 free.

Scoring: Scoring shall be standard Meet Manager Scoring. Scoring shall be through sixteen places: 20-17-16-15-14-13-12-11-9-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 for Individual events and 40-34-32-30-28-26-24-22-18-14-12-10-8-6-4-2 for relays.

Awards: Trophies will be given to the top 2 boys and girls teams.

Directions: From Atlanta Take 1-185 South to Exit 6 (Macon Rd) Turn right off highway. Turn left at the 3rd light. Parking deck will be on your left PARKING: Buses please drop swimmers off and then park in the paved lot behind the parking deck. Spectators can park in the parking deck and then overflow to the back lot.

Warm Up: Start at 330. Time and lanes will be assigned
